An Interview with Christy Climenhage

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Christy Climenhage when we were both on a panel about Near Future EcoFiction at WorldCon’s Online Edmonton bid. We had an amazing conversation about EcoFiction and Christy read from her newest book The Midnight Project. I, of course, knew that I would need to interview her and share her perspectives here on Speculating Canada.

Christy Climenhage is the author of The Midnight Project (Poplar Press, 2025). She holds a collection of graduate degrees (PhD and two Masters) from another life as a social scientist, academic and diplomat. A member of SFWA and CSFFA, she enjoys pushing the boundaries of today’s society and technology with her near-future science fiction. When not writing, you can find her in a forest north of Ottawa, Canada.
